Bixby (Lead): Male, 20s
Lowell 'Bixbey' is homeless and broken. He is strong and charismatic on the outside but upon deeper inspection you will find a young man crippled and suffering with social anxiety and mental illness. He comes alive when he meets fellow street rat Sofia who helps him look at the world in a different and more magical way.
Sofia (Lead): Female, 20s
Stylishly punky Sofia is homeless and afloat; untethered to the rules of society or reality; her boldness and flirtatiousness are covers for a deeper pain; she darts in and out of conversations with a quick wit; think punk rock Audrey Hepburn.
Elise (Supporting Day Player): Female, 50s-60s
Lovely, older woman, a bit kooky. Elise has experienced a lot of loss in life which seems to have left her in a constant state of wide eyed shock. She is retired, living alone with her cat and still hopelessly in love with her deceased husband.
Jimmy (Supporting): Male, 50s-70s
Homeless but always smiling. Filthy but lovable. Wise with age and at the same time his brain is full of impossible conspiracy theories. Prone to cheat at cards and give speeches on ethics almost immediately afterward.
Frank(Supporting): Male, 40s-70s
Homeless curmudgeon. Paranoid to the point of being comical. He has a wheelchair but it's not certain whether it's part of a scam or if he really requires it as he's often bouncing up out of it.
Security Guard(Supporting): Male,20s-40s
This is a physical role as the security guard will be chasing around homeless thieves through out the movie. Looking for someone full of "character".
Billy (Supporting): Male, 50s-70s
Third of the homeless trio and the saddest as he is completely detached from reality, spouting nonsense most of the time. However, the nonsense he spouts makes perfect sense to him. He says it with raspy throated determination and bluster. He has a little scruffy dog which seems to anchor him when he becomes too upset.
the Wild Boys (Supporting): Male and Female, 20s
Group of homeless street punks. This is a physical role as they are constantly on the run from the "man" who is out to get them for stealing food.
Store Owner(Supporting): Male, 40s
This is a physical role as the store owner will be chasing around homeless thieves through out the movie. Looking for someone full of "character".
